Looking for an Odoo alternative? Odoo and MitosOne

Odoo, developed by Odoo SA in Belgium, is a broad suite of business applications spanning accounting, inventory, CRM and manufacturing, with an open-source Community edition, a proprietary Enterprise edition, an official Turkish localisation and a partner network in Türkiye. MitosOne is an AI-assisted process platform and adaptive ERP focused on building company-specific processes without code. This page compares the two using verifiable information only.

Ready-made ERP modules or a configurable platform?

Packaged ERPs deliver work as modules: accounting, inventory, sales… When a process does not fit a module’s assumptions, either the company adapts its habits or developers and partners customise the system. In MitosOne, company-specific data structures, approval workflows, permissions and reports are configured in the browser; common functions start from ready-made template packages. The two approaches are not mutually exclusive: MitosOne can also run next to an existing ERP as a process layer.

When is MitosOne the better fit?

  • Your processes are specific to your company and change often, and you do not want to wait for an extra plan, developers or partners to add a field, an approval step or a report.
  • You want stage-based permissions, required fields, reasons and segregation of duties for approvals defined in one place without code.
  • Row- and field-level permissions must apply identically in lists, reports, exports, mobile and the API, and fields such as national IDs or IBANs must be encrypted with a per-tenant key.
  • You want configuration changes versioned, tested in a sandbox with masked data and promoted to production with approval.
  • You want to keep your existing system for accounting and e-documents and bring the surrounding departmental processes into one platform.

What MitosOne does not have today

To keep this comparison honest: the following are not available in MitosOne today or are still in development.

  • No outgoing Turkish e-invoice, e-archive, e-dispatch or e-ledger submission; incoming e-invoice/e-archive files can be imported. Statutory coverage is in development.
  • End-user screens for general ledger (journal, trial balance), payroll, sales/purchasing and inventory are in development; there are no balance sheet or income statement reports.
  • No bank integration or reconciliation.
  • No third-party app store or partner network; packages are published by Mitossoft.
